Big Sky Testify has reached its 100th episode, and Adam Vokaty is marking the milestone with something personal: an update on the journey God has been taking him on.

What began as an idea in a men's Bible study has grown into a ministry sharing testimonies of faith, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the life-changing grace of Jesus Christ. But this episode isn't just about looking back at what Big Sky Testify has accomplished. It's about looking back at what God has done.

Adam opens an old prayer journal from 2016, revisiting a time when he was searching for direction, beginning to take his faith seriously, and discovering the plans God had for his life. Ten years later, he reflects on how far he's come—and how much work God is still doing in him.

In this honest and unscripted update, Adam shares the story of a restored relationship with his brother, the power of forgiveness, a meaningful moment of prayer and reconciliation in New Mexico, and the ongoing struggle to surrender pride, business, and personal ambitions to God.

His message is a reminder that following Jesus doesn't mean we've stopped struggling. It means we know where the light comes from, and we keep returning to the One who is transforming us.

As Big Sky Testify celebrates 100 episodes and a growing reach across 333 cities and 65 countries, Adam reflects on the people who have trusted the podcast with their testimonies and the importance of bringing faith beyond our headphones and into everyday life.

This isn't a story about having it all figured out. It's a story about God's faithfulness, one step at a time.

What if God has been working in your life for years before you ever recognized it?

In Acts 22, Paul stands before a hostile crowd and shares his testimony—from persecuting followers of Jesus to encountering Christ and being called to proclaim the gospel. His story reminds us that our past does not define our future, and that even the most difficult moments can become opportunities to point others toward Jesus.

What does it really mean to be more than a conqueror? In this episode of Big Sky Testify: Pray, Pray, Pray, Adam dives into Romans 8:28–39 to explore God's purpose for His people, the meaning of predestination, and the incredible assurance that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

Paul reminds us that God's purpose isn't simply to make our circumstances comfortable or remove every hardship. His purpose is to conform us to the image of His Son. Through Romans 8 and Ephesians 1, we explore God's saving work through the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, including redemption, adoption, justification, and the promise of future glory.

We also look back to Genesis 3, where Adam and Eve responded to sin with shame and hiding, and to Luke 15, where Jesus reveals the heart of God through the shepherd who seeks the lost and the father who welcomes his returning son. What does it look like to truly live on mission for Jesus—even when obedience is difficult, uncomfortable, or costly?

In Acts 21, Paul knows that suffering awaits him in Jerusalem. Friends plead with him not to go, yet Paul remains committed to what God has called him to do. His response is striking: he is ready not only to be bound, but even to die for the name of the Lord Jesus. Eventually, those around him respond, “The Lord’s will be done.”

In this episode of Dear God, Amen, Adam and Obie dig into Paul's courage, sacrifice, and unwavering focus on the Gospel. They talk about what it means to follow Jesus when the path isn't easy, why we sometimes need to set aside non-essential traditions for the sake of the Gospel, and the danger of turning faith into a checklist of religious works.

What does it really mean to do life together as followers of Jesus?

What does genuine repentance actually look like? Is it simply saying, “God, I’m sorry,” or does it mean something deeper?

In Acts 20, Paul gives the Ephesian elders a powerful picture of what it means to follow Jesus with purpose. He speaks about repentance, faith, hardship, perseverance, and the responsibility to proclaim the good news of God’s grace. His words are not about building a comfortable Christian life—they are about finishing the race and faithfully completing the work Jesus has given us.

What does real faith look like when you don't have all the answers?

In this deeply personal episode of Pray, Pray, Pray, Obie shares what God has been teaching him about faith, repentance, identity, and trusting God—even when doubt and questions are still present.

The episode begins with a moment alone in his truck, overwhelmed by feelings of failure, complacency, and unworthiness. Through worship and repentance, Obie describes experiencing a powerful reminder that he is loved, forgiven, and that his identity is found in God—not in what he accomplishes.

Then came an unexpected opportunity to put faith into action.

When his wife was experiencing severe knee pain, Obie's first response wasn't to figure everything out—it was to pray. He prayed for complete healing, even while admitting that he wasn't sure the prayer would work. The next day, her pain was gone.

He doesn't present himself as a healer or claim credit for what happened. Instead, he points everything back to Jesus and reflects on what the experience taught him about faith.

As he puts it, faith isn't about having every question answered or never experiencing fear and doubt. Faith is trusting God in the middle of those things.

This episode is also an invitation to anyone who feels far from God, has been hurt by Christians, is struggling with faith, or has never surrendered their life to Jesus.

Faith doesn't have to mean having no questions. Sometimes faith means trusting God enough to take the next step.

What does it really mean to know Jesus?

In Acts 19, Paul encounters disciples who had experienced John's baptism but had not yet understood the Holy Spirit. From there, the conversation takes us through some of the most challenging and fascinating moments in Acts: the power of the Holy Spirit, extraordinary miracles, people attempting to use the name of Jesus without actually knowing Him, repentance, sorcery, idols, spiritual discernment, and a city thrown into chaos because the Gospel was changing lives.

Adam and Obie wrestle honestly with what these passages mean for believers today. They talk about the difference between knowing about Jesus and having a genuine relationship with Him, and why we should be careful not to treat Jesus' name like a formula or magic phrase.

The conversation also turns toward everyday discipleship: What are we allowing into our homes, our minds, and our children's lives? What entertainment, habits, or influences might be given a foothold? And how do we confront those things without becoming condemning?

One of the most powerful themes of the episode is surrender. Adam and Obie talk about the difference between submission and full surrender, and what it looks like to physically and spiritually lay the things we are holding onto at the feet of Jesus.

The episode closes with prayer, including Jesus' prayer in John 17 and Psalm 139—a reminder that God knows us completely, calls us to surrender, and desires a genuine relationship with us.
