    In Episode 2 of Behind The Beat, the team pulls back the curtain on what really happens at 91.5 The Beat HD2 — Nevada’s number one student-run radio station.

    Chris, Ava, and Tony kick things off with their new “Bright Spot of the Week” segment, sharing real-life college moments about family visits, nostalgic music, friendships, gaming, and surviving Maryland Parkway traffic during rush hour.

    The crew is then joined by special guest Maya, Street Team Manager for The Beat. She breaks down how the Street Team promotes concerts, giveaways, and campus events across UNLV, what it’s like engaging students at Freedom of Speech area, and how they use games like Jenga, Connect Four, trivia, and raffles to drive interaction. Maya also talks about balancing 20 credits, double majoring, future military plans, basketball, crochet, and what makes Homecoming one of her favorite campus memories.
