Heyyy my Little Angelzz welcome back to another episode! This week I have been battling procrastination and the push to get certain projects done. Procrastination is something that we ALL suffer from at different degrees. God has shown me how I have been a high functioning procrastinator in the past, but this new season of higher heights he is calling me to more on my plate. I can no longer approach my work ethic the same as the past. I now have to be more disciplined then I have ever been before. Embark on another facet of my journey walking with Christ and becoming an entrepreneur.

"No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening -- it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way"

- I encourage you all to focus on the "But afterward" part of this verse. God is our number one motivator. His word proves time and time again how he simply wants to encourage us along our way. Remember he sent Jesus so he knows this life is challenging and a battle, but you got this. Keep going and keep striving!

Hey my Little Angelz this week I realized that I struggle with expecting to much from people. I am a passionate, hardworking, driven woman and sometimes I think others are like me. I am learning to lower my expectations on family, friends, and relationships.

I believe at this point in my life this is the wise thing to do. You end up hurting yourself because you EXPECT people to treat you how you treat them. You EXPECT them to communicate how you do. At the very least you EXPECT them to put the same amount or more effort into the relationship. This is not reality for most relationships.

Relying on God becomes the most important decision you can make in a situation where you are expecting to much from "man" and not tapping into fulfilling the expectations God has for you.

Proverbs 10:28 "The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the EXPECTATIONS of the wicked come to nothing"

On this week's episode I go deeper into the hardships of being a kind person. Knowing when to draw the line between being nice to people and pleasing them is something that can make or break your success with denying your flesh.

This is something I am still learning to teach myself to do, but I thought this topic has always been trendy in my life. In this season, I am trying my best to say NO and be okay with people not understanding the way I move now.

Dear Little Angels,

This week was really challenging for me. I talk about forgiving myself for mental health issues I can't control. Sometimes it is easy to be mad at yourself because there are things mentally going on that you do not understand. PMDD - Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder is one of those things that makes me very confused and mad at myself because I can't control nor understand my feelings half the time.

Through God's grace and mercy I have found comfort in him that it is okay that there are things that I don't understand when it comes to my mental health because HE understands me regardless. God knows what I am going through on the inside whether I talk about it to others or not.

The next step is taking accountability for my actions and realizing I am not going to be able to get through this alone. I need him. Yes, even when it comes to your mental health, ESPECIALLY when it comes to your mental health. The world will try to paint you as a "crazy person" or even the enemy, but that is not my reality or yours. This was a hard episode to record, but it meant a lot to me to be able to get some of the issues bottled up inside out. I hope you enjoy!!!

Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive" Scripture highlights how we need to forgive others, but I also believe God wants us to be able to forgive ourselves after we have come to him with a repenting heart. MY LITTLE ANGELZZZ HEYY!!

This week I struggled with seeking validation in the wrong places and ended up hurting my own feelings LOL. The reality is that I know I am supposed to lean on God to be heard, seen, and understood. But sometimes I am not trying to hear that. Its the truth my little angelz because people will let you down and leave you unsatisfied, but God will show up because he doesn't lie. HE MAY TAKE YEARS TO SHOW UP, but at least he did. Some of us deal with trust issues and swear up and down God is like every other faulty person we have met. HE IS NOT and its okay to be frustrated in the moment just don't forget who to lean on when you regain focus!!
