Adam Auburn — celebrating him as one of LA’s true house music powerhouses! Back in the Afternoon Delight #2 era (~2011, poolside at the Custom Hotel), Adam was already a standout: an elite DJ/promoter whose infectious sets and event vision helped define the West Coast house scene. As the founder of Auburn Events, he turned Afternoon Delight into a legendary series (ranked #2 Pool Party in the US by Thrillist in 2015), alongside hits like Soul & Tonic, Departure, and Balance — earning spots in LA Weekly’s “Top 10 LA Club Nights” and more.

This live recording captured pure magic: deep, groovy house vibes under the LA sun, rolling basslines, and that signature Auburn energy that keeps crowds locked in from open to close. An East Coast transplant (winner of the first Traxsource DJ Competition in 2004), Adam moved to LA in 2008, got discovered by Insomniac, rocked weekly at Exchange LA, hit mainstages at Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape from Wonderland, EDC Week, and beyond — sharing decks with legends from Kaskade to Derrick Carter, Louie Vega, and Maceo Plex. He’s also 1/2 of Friendly Fire with LondonBridge, a “20 Best DJs in LA Right Now” (LA Weekly) alum, and still dropping heat via SoundCloud mixes while throwing parties and working with Insomniac (like DayTrip Events).

As a Los Angeles-based producer/DJ with a jazz background (Masters from USC), he founded Golden State Recordings and dropped heat on labels like Salted Music, Drop Music, and more, making him a key figure in that golden era of Cali house.
