  • From Grief to Service: How Bill Muir’s Loss Became a Legacy of Care and Compassion
    Jan 8 2026

    Send us a text

In this episode of B+, Krista Gregg talks with Bill Muir, a crime and trauma scene cleaner and suicide loss survivor, about losing his son, Christian, to suicide. Bill shares who Christian was, the mental health challenges he faced, and how grief has reshaped Bill’s life and purpose over the past eight years.

They discuss the day Christian died, the aftermath no parent is prepared for, and how bullying, misunderstanding, and isolation can become dangerous triggers. Bill also shares how signs, service, and showing up for others helped him survive the unthinkable — and how he turned his pain into action through Christian Cares, a program created to support families after suicide, homicide, and traumatic loss.

This is a powerful conversation about grief that doesn’t end, healing that evolves, and the ways helping others can become part of surviving loss.
