• CFL Grey Cup Preview
    Nov 17 2022
We are back for one last time this season. On Sunday night, the 109th Grey Cup will be played in Regina between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Blue Bombers are looking to cement themselves as a dynasty and one of the greatest teams ever by winning their third Grey Cup in a row. Before getting into the game, there are some questions about how healthy Collaros is after suffering an ankle injury in the previous game. There's really no way for the Argonauts to come out of this game on top; they are not as good as the Blue Bombers, and it would take the Bombers to shoot themselves in the foot for the Argonauts to have a chance.🟢 Subscribe to the main Hammer HQ YouTube channel for more sports betting content from our network: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9qYMaJLSFKr0TsWjNnJ9-A🟢 Make sure to subscribe to the Forward Progress YouTube channel for more Football betting content and drop a like/rate five stars if you enjoyedParagraph two is a reusable paragraph you can use for every upload which will contain a description of what the show is overall and what days and time you can find it. • CFL Division Finals Preview
    Nov 10 2022
Mitchell Blair recaps the first week of CFL playoff action and looks at his week of betting. Looking ahead to the division finals, Blair gives his best bets on the CFL slate.Welcome one, welcome all to 3rd and 1 From The Gun, where host Mitchell Blair runs through the past week of CFL action and looks ahead to the conference championships, Last week, the BC Lions beat the Calgary Stampeders after some missed opportunities on 3rd and short. Calgary seemed to shy away from the run game in this game after being a tough running team. The BC Lions did look like the better team as the game wore on. Before getting into the other game, Blair breaks down the situation with Bo Levi Mitchell and the potential landing spots for him. From there, we head into the East finals between the Toronto Argonauts and the Montreal Alouettes. The Toronto defence has been underrated this year, and Blair expects them to overwhelm the Alouettes' offense; it looks to be a close game either way. The West finals will be played between the BC Lions and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Blue Bombers look to continue their dominant reign over the CFL with their third Grey Cup win in a row. The BC Lions with Nathan Rourke need to be nothing less than perfect if they want to come out on top in this game, but it will be no easy task. To recap, Blair has the Alouettes on the moneyline and the Bombers to cover.Join Mitchell Blair every Thursday as he does a weekly deep-dive into the CFL, discussing ongoing stories, news, rumors, and most importantly sports betting information. • CFL Playoff Preview
    Nov 3 2022
Mitchell Blair recaps the final week of CFL action and looks at his week of betting. Looking ahead to the playoffs, Blair gives his best bets on the CFL slate. The hunt for the Grey Cup has finally begun with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts waiting in the wings to see who their opponents will be.  Before we get into the playoffs, Blair recaps the past week and looks back on the season finishing the record with about a 65% pick rate!  From there Blair touches on his hometown team the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  The Roughriders, who are the host team of the Grey Cup, failed to make the playoffs this year which has the fans calling for change. The organization has responded by firing their offensive coordinator, offensive line coach and wide recievers coach.  This makes sense considering they were one of the wort offenses in the league and lead the league in sacks allowed but some would say this is not enough.  This looks like the general manager and head coach scapegoating assistant coaches but only time will tell.  Getting into the week of games, the Montreal Alouettes play host to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.  The Alouettes are 2.5 point favourites at home and Blair is leaning towards them to win.  The other game this week sees the Calgary Stampeders flying west to play the BC Lions at home.  The Lions are favourites in what should be a close game. Join Mitchell Blair every Thursday as he does a weekly deep-dive into the CFL, discussing ongoing stories, news, rumors, and most importantly sports betting information. • CFL Week 21 preview
    Oct 27 2022
Mitchell Blair recaps Week 20 of CFL action and reviews his week of betting. Looking ahead to Week 21, Mitchell gives his best bets for the 4 games on the CFL slate. Before we get into this week’s slate of games, Mitchell Blair gets into a recap of his strong week last week after going 3-1.  He breaks down his tough loss on the Alouettes after the Argonauts got a rouge after a player caught the ball with their foot out of bounds.  From there Michell Blair covers some recent news in the CFL this week like who the halftime performer will be? To kick off the final week of the CFL we got the BC Lions against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.  The Blue Bombers are 4.5 point favourites but with their star quarterback expected to rest after the first half you might want to look at the BC Lions for this game.  Up next we got our 3 game saturday slate starting with the Montreal Alouettes facing the Toronto Argonauts who are 3.5 point favourites.  Montreal is resting their regulars so maybe take a look at Toronto to cover and win.  The second game of the day sees the Hamilton Tiger-Cats battle against the Ottawa Redblacks who are 1.5 point favourite home underdogs.  The Redblacks are looking a lot better since firing their head coach with Bob Dyce coming in to replace him, Dyce is known as a coach who players love to play for that is why we are siding with the Reblacks for this game.  The final game of the CFL season sees the Saskatchewan Roughriders against the Calgary Stampeders who are 5.5 point favourites at home.  The decision to bench Cody Fajardo in place of Mason Fine was a big head scratcher, the Roughriders are defeated so we are leaning to the Stampeders here. To recap the bets of the week BC Lions to cover and win, Toronto to cover, Ottawa to cover and Calgary to cover. Join Mitchell Blair every Thursday as he does a weekly deep-dive into the CFL, discussing ongoing stories, news, rumors, and most importantly sports betting information. • CFL Week 20 Preview
    Oct 21 2022
Mitchell Blair recaps Week 19 of CFL action and reviews his week of betting. Looking ahead to Week 20, Mitchell gives his best bets for the 4 games on the CFL slate. Before we get into this week’s slate of games, Mitchell Blair gets into the biggest news in the CFL today.  The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed Zack Collaros to a 3 year 1.8 million dollar deal that will kick in at the end of the season.  The Blue Bombers locked up the back to back league best player after coming off two Grey Cup wins and are looking ahead to a third.  To start the CFL slate we head over to Hamilton where the Ottawa Redblacks face off against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.  The Tiger-Cats are 6.5 point favourites at home and are looking to lock up the final playoff spot against a frisky Ottawa Redblacks team that seems to have new blood with the firing of their head coach.  Up next we have the BC Lions against the Edmonton Elks with the home team being 7 point underdogs.  You know the drill here the Elks are at home so we fade as they haven’t won in years. Looking ahead to the Saturday slate, the Toronto Argonauts play the Montreal Alouettes in Montreal with Montreal being 1.5 point underdogs.  We are rolling with the Alouettes in this contest. Finally we have the Calgary Stampeders against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  This one's a bit of a head scratcher with the Stampeders as 3.5 point favourites on the road.  The Roughriders have had a rough last 5 games losing all of them as well they will be without Cody Fajardo at QB. Hamilton moneyline, Ottawa to cover +6, BC -7 all the way up until -9.5, Montreal moneyline, and Calgary moneyline.Join Mitchell Blair every Thursday as he does a weekly deep-dive into the CFL, discussing ongoing stories, news, rumors, and most importantly sports betting information. • CFL Week 19 Best Bets
    Oct 14 2022
Mitchell Blair recaps Week 18 of CFL action and reviews his week of betting. Looking ahead to Week 19, Mitchell gives his best bets for the 4 games on the CFL slate.Sometimes you're the hammer and sometimes you're the nail and this past week Mitchell Blair was the nail, getting absolutely hammered by the books capping last week off with a 1-3 record.  To start off the show we get into the Montreal Alouettes vs the Ottawa Redblacks.  This is a rematch from last week's game, this week the Redblacks are 4.5 point favourites at home after defeating the Alouettes last week, can they pull it off again?  From there we head to the Friday night game between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Calgary Stampeders.  The Stampeders are 7.5 point favourites but the Tiger-Cats are in a must win game if they want to get into the playoffs.  Then we head over to Saturday’s slate of games starting off with the Toronto Argonauts against the Edmonton Elks at home.  We know the story of the Elks at home, they struggle to win and the Argonauts are a 6.5 point favourites on the road.  Finally the Winnipeg Blue Bombers take on the BC Lions in British Columbia.  The Blue Bombers would usually be favouirtes in this affari but with them having locked up first place, they are resting multiple starters, as well last year in s similar situation they pulled their startersJoin Mitchell Blair every Thursday as he does a weekly deep-dive into the CFL, discussing ongoing stories, news, rumors, and most importantly sports betting information. • CFL Week 18 Best Bets
    Oct 6 2022
Mitchell Blair recaps Week 17 of CFL action and reviews how his week of betting. Looking ahead to Week 18, Mitchell gives his best bets for the 4 games on the CFL slate. This week on 3rd and 1 from the Gun, host Mitchell Blair recaps his picks from last week going a whopping 4-0. To start the show Blair discusses the Ottawa Redblacks after a dismal showing in BC last week, their head coach Paul LaPolice got shown the door and was replaced by interim head coach Bob Dyce.  Dyce did the same for the Roughriders in 2015 but its unlikely he stays as the coach next year.  The frontrunner for the job might be Khari Jones or it could be Craig Dickenson after a not so good season with the Roughriders.  Speaking of the Roughriders they take on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at home.  If the Roughriders need to beat the Tiger-Cats to make the playoffs, if they Riders lose, the advantage will go to the Tiger-Cats.  Hamilton are 2.5 point favourites at home, the key to them winning the game is not turning over the ball. Blair’s pick this week on this game is for the Roughriders to cover and on the moneyline.  The marquee matchup of the week looks to be the BC Lions against the Toronto Argonauts at home on thanksgiving.  Blair is taking BC +1.5 against the spread.  Up next the Edmonton Elks take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with a massive spread of 13.5 and the Bombers on the moneyline.  Good news for the Elks is that they are not playing at home.  Blair is picking the Elks to cover the +13.5 point spread.  For the last game on Monday night, the Ottawa Redblacks and the Montreal Alouettes at 6.5 point spread.Join Mitchell Blair ever Thursday as he does a weekly deep-dive into the CFL, discussing ongoing stories, news, rumors, and most importantly sports betting information. • CFL Week 17 Best Bets
    Sep 30 2022
Mitchell Blair recaps Week 16 of CFL action and reviews how his week of betting. Looking ahead to Week 17, Mitchell gives his best bets for the 4 games on the CFL slate. This week on 3rd and 1 from the Gun, host Mitchell Blair recaps his 2-1 bets from last week. Calgary and Toronto came through for Blair, but the Hamilton Tiger-Cats let him down. Going into the week, there were 4 games this week after the bye  last week. To kick off the show, Mitchell casts some doubt on Bo Levi Mitchell. With his contract coming up at the end of the season, Mitchell speculates on the potential of Bo Levi Mitchell getting traded. One thing is for sure, it doesn’t look like he will be back as a Stampeder next season. The first game of the week sees the Saskatchewan Roughriders take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Winnipeg's defence is likely to be motivated after getting 48 points scored against. Saskatchewan struggles protecting the quarterback, and Mitchell sees the Blue Bombers feasting on sacks this week. The Bombers are favoured this week by over a touchdown, but Mitchell thinks they can cover. The second game on Friday sees the Ottawa Reblacks against the BC Lions. After getting demolished last week, the Redblacks are looking for some redemption this week, but they are looking to be heavy underdogs. Looking ahead to Saturday, the Edmonton Elks host the Montreal Allouettes and look to get their first win at home in almost 2 years. The Elks are still a below-average team and are coming into the game as 3.5-point underdogs. Blair is siding with the Allouettes here. The last game of the week sees the Toronto Argonauts against the Calgary Stampeders. Mitchell Blair is going with the Stampeders here.Join Mitchell Blair ever Thursday as he does a weekly deep-dive into the CFL, discussing ongoing stories, news, rumors, and most importantly sports betting information.
