Basically the group chat, but with microphones. 🎙️

Two friends talking life, pop culture, Bravo & Housewives, the shows and movies we can’t stop talking about, fitness, mental health, motherhood, and whatever else somehow makes its way into the conversation.

No experts. No perfect lives. Just catching up, laughing too hard, oversharing a little, and probably getting off topic.

Pour the wine. Roll the joint. Grab your emotional-support beverage. Get on the couch.

Come get comfortable. You’re one of the girls now.

  • The Girls Are Talking… on FaceTime, Basically? 🎙️📱
    Oct 2 2026

We had a list. We had a plan. We talked about… basically none of it. 😂

This week, the girls are quite literally just talking. From Costco runs and fruit that dies the second you bring it home, to gas disappearing way too fast, getting high, Dutch Bros encounters, random grievances, Mexican candy, kids, pets, and every possible tangent in between.

At some point we realized we had completely abandoned the episode plan — and honestly? That’s kind of the point.

These are the exact conversations that made us want to start 2 G’s & a J in the first place. No real agenda, no rhyme or reason, just two friends talking like they forgot there were microphones in front of them.

So grab a drink, get comfortable, and welcome to our FaceTime call. 🎙️💋

  • The Girls Are Talking… Wait, Is This a Date?
    Sep 25 2026

The girls are talking—and apparently we’re also finding out YEARS later that one of us may have accidentally gone on a date. 😭

This week, Danielle is getting back out there, doing things on her own again, and opening up about navigating her first real heartbreak, finding herself after a relationship, and reconnecting with the confidence she knows is still there—even if she lost the feeling for a little while.

Meanwhile, Janessa has some grievances: Arizona construction, a drink that tasted like childhood lipstick, and the absolute CRIME of being charged $22 for water before a Karol G concert.

Somewhere between Love Island reunion thoughts, turning 30, healing, and figuring out what we actually want out of life, the conversation takes a HARD left when Danielle casually reveals a story that has Janessa asking the only reasonable question:

Girl… you know that was a date, right?

Grab whatever your “J” is and come join the group chat. 💋

  • The Girls Are Talking: Watch How You Speak
    Sep 18 2026

This week, the girls are talking about the conversations surrounding women right now—from postpartum mental health and the way we speak about women in crisis, to the pressure, judgment and lack of compassion women continue to face.

Janessa shares why our words matter even when the person in the headline may never hear them—because the woman quietly struggling beside us might.

And because no 2 G’s and a J episode can stay serious for too long, the conversation somehow turns into funeral performances, unnecessary singing debuts and the question we’ve all secretly wanted to ask: why do people use funerals as their personal audition?

It’s thoughtful, slightly unhinged and somehow ends exactly where every good group chat does.

New episodes of 2 G’s and a J drop every Friday.
