'At once familiar and tantalisingly strange ... It's an absolute pleasure to see his work translated at last in these beautifully produced English editions.' (Sunday Times)
'Atmospheric, exciting and knotty whodunits ...' (The Japan Times)
'A testament to the power of the simple murder mystery and its enduring appeal.' (The Spectator)

The reader has a very breathy voice and it was often very difficult to understand him. In the same chapter he would scream and then whisper, so that it was very difficult to listen to it with earphones.
Disappointing
