For fans of epic fantasy… with a slow-burn sapphic twist.

Rebellious Princess Natasia has always known her role: marry a man her father can shape into his heir. But when an assassin nearly takes Tasia's life, everything changes. Someone powerful wants to destabilize the Empire, but who? With no noble family above suspicion, the Emperor takes the extraordinary step of naming his daughter heir. The carefree princess must learn to rule an empire, while enemies circle on every side.

Enter Joslyn, an accomplished swordswoman, assigned to protect Tasia and teach her self-defense. Everywhere Tasia goes, Joslyn follows -- and Tasia resents her presence. But war looms, accusations of treason fly, and angry lords threaten rebellion. One truth becomes clear: Joslyn might be the only one Tasia can trust.

With the Empire on the brink of chaos, can Tasia rise to the occasion -- or will she watch it fall?

Spannendes Fantasy-Epos.

it's queer, the plot is intriguing and original, it's spicy and spoils us with relatable characters - I loved this book!

Even without the love Story this would be a Wonderful Fantasy Story but because of the love Story I like it even more. The Quality of the writing is a good as any big Name author.

Really good fantasy

Einfach Top, habe nichts auszusetzen.

Interessant und niemals langweilig
