This book is wonderfully written IMO and the plot very paced and developed. Jude and Cas will stay with me for a very long time. The narrator did a great job giving life to these characters. I loved it

What a book! What a narrator! Such an emotional ride and so well written. Definitely had to sit with my feelings for a bit after finishing this book and can’t stop thinking about it. I saw another review where someone mentioned they wished they got a bit more of the happy Jude and Cas, I do agree there. But man it was beautiful… really beautiful. I can only thank the author for such an amazing story.. journey really.

Oleander kept me completely engaged there were moments I was on the edge of my seat, moments I laughed, and moments I genuinely cried. It captures love and loss with real emotional intelligence.

What stood out most was Scarlett Drake’s use of language: precise, poetic, and deeply observant without ever feeling overwrought. The writing trusts the listener, allowing emotion to unfold naturally.

A moving, beautifully written story that stays with you long after it ends.
