Ansich gut wie fast alle der schattenjägerbücher mir gefiel die Sprecherin allerdings wirklich nicht sie hat für meinen Geschmack zu schnell und nicht gut verständlich gelesen… Und wie immer natürlich nur was für Fans von tragischen herzerreißenden Fantasy Liebesromanen … Wie alle Der Shadowhunter Bücher eben. Wirklich gut als Teil des gesamten Shadowhunter-Universums aber allein nicht herausstechend.

I just relistened to this (before starting Lord of Shadows) and again, loved it. Lots of romance as well as mystery, action and family drama. (and having characters from the previous books show up sometimes is always welcome)
Morena Baccarin (who I love onscreen) also does a great job at dramatizing/bringing the words to life.

Es ist schwierig die großartige Geschichte von Mortal Instruments ohne die Hauptcharaktere gelungen fortzusetzen. In diesem Fall ist es Cassandra Clare aber absolut gelungen. Trotz kurzer Einarbeitungszeit in die Charaktere und die etwas andere Gefühlswelt, fesselt einen das Hörbuch vom ersten (zweiten) Zuhören.

It is a nice story in the known surrounding of „The Mortal Instruments“. I still like the ideas of the shadowhunter world. Anyway the book has its lengths and is not as exciting, diversified and sophisticated as The Mortal Instruments.

Not as good as the mortal instruments but nice to hear anyway!
