New York Times best-selling author Hannah Howell enthralls listeners with her unforgettable tales of the love between fierce knights and their passionate women, weaving her storytelling genius to give us one of her best romances yet....

On the eve of her wedding to the heir of Saiturn Manor, the stunningly beautiful Gytha is shocked to learn that her betrothed, a man she barely knew, is dead. Now she must marry the new heir, Thayer Saiturn, a battle-hardened knight known as the Red Devil....

With a face scarred in battle and a heart broken in love, Thayer has no interest in marriage. But not even the Red Devil can break the promise his foster-father made years ago and soon finds himself married to a woman whose exquisite beauty and sweet innocence intrigue him. But can his new bride look beyond his scars to find a hidden passion and undying love locked deep inside him?

Contains mature themes.

Najtrafniejsze

Eigentlich kein Biest

I never read anything by Hannah Howell before. I never even heard of her. I just listened to this book bc it was available for free. So I was so surprised about what a treat this book is. I liked the Characters so much. especially Gytha. She is the kind of heroine I like to read about. smart witty reasonable sensible sensual and Bad ass in her own way. I liked the hero too. he has a good heart and humour but he had a Chip on his shoulders and stood a little bit in his own way yet his character was believable and understandable. the story was Solid too. but it Takes too long to come to an end in my opinion. there was a Showdown and then we have one or two too many twists and turns Happening which were totally unnecessary. Mary Jane Wells as always does an excellent Job. I could listend to her all day long. I recommend xoxo
