Ok, seichte Unterhaltung kann ja trotzdem erquicken. Aber zum Ende hin wurde es mir dann doch Zuviel. Die Sprecherin hat mich bei der Stange gehalten, sie spricht für mich als Nicht-Native-Speaker jedes englische Wort so, als ob sie von einer leckeren Frucht kostet. Nun, der Text und die Handlung sind nicht so doll, aber kostenlos im Abo kann man ja probieren und stöbern. Hier fehlt das echte Gefühl des Abenteuers, die Ereignisse sind mir zu konstruiert. Wobei die Charaktere nicht schlecht gezeichnet sind. Nun ja, empfehlen kann ich das Hörbuch nur Leuten, die die Sprecherin gern am Ohr haben.

Die Geschichte hat mir ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Sie ist in Teilen etwas unglaubwürdig, es passieren gar viele tolle Dinge gleichzeitig, aber alle Beteiligten handeln derart positiv, ohne Gejammer, Gezeter, langweiligen Selbstgesprächen und Beschuldigungen, dass das Buch einfach eine Freude ist zu hören. Genauso wünsche ich mir einen Reagency-Liebesroman.

Positiv bis zum abwinken.
