Es ist ein Buch, das zwar viel sehr guten und teils kinky spice hat, dieser aber das Werk nicht dominiert. Es wird eine Liebe geboten, die zum Sterben schön ist. Dazu noch eine sehr spannende Handlung, von der man nicht genug bekommt und die zum Denken anregt.
Und dann kommt das Ende, was mich verfolgt, bricht und doch heilt. Alles gleichzeitig und ich habe geheult wie ein Schlosshund.
Dieses Buch ist für mich das Musterbeispiel eines Bestsellers (es sollte einer sein!!!), denn es hat alles. Einen tollen Schreibstil, spannende Handlung, genug smut, der nicht das ganze Buch ausmacht. Und eine Traurigkeit, die einen zerreißt.
Und nochmal: Die Sprecher waren in einer Liga für sich. Milo war so gut getroffen. Er war perfekt. Aber dann kommt da Mac Rae, als Jay und es war eine epische Meisterleistung. Beide haben ihre Charaktere nicht nur gespielt, sondern gefühlt. Sie waren sie und jedes Schluzchen, jeder spice,
Jede Traurigkeit war echt und es gibt nichts besseres als diese Leistung.
