• The One Where We Actually Hit Record
    Jun 19 2026

After what felt like an eternity of scheduling conflicts, life happenings, and general chaos, Ally and Waterloo are finally here and behind the microphones. This week on The Congeniality of Sports, we catch up on everything we've missed and everything currently taking over our feeds.

We start with Laila Edwards heading to PWHL San Jose and discuss what her arrival means for the newest team in the league. Then it's sneaker talk as we break down the Caitlin 1s and put some signature shoes head-to-head in a Start, Bench, Cut featuring the Sabrina 1s, A'Ones, and Caitlin 1s.

On the soccer side, Sam Kerr is back, Ally Sentnor somehow seems to be everywhere at just 22 years old, and we spend some time trying to figure out exactly what Angel City FC is doing right now (because we have questions and no answers).

Of course, we dive into the WNBA season so far, including early surprises, standout performances, and Waterloo's newfound power as an official WNBA All-Star voter. We also ask the important questions: Why is WNBA League Pass the way that it is? Would a hypothetical Cameron Brink trade solve everything? And why does Waterloo have such strong feelings about the Toronto Tempo branding?

We also make our way-too-early WNBA Finals predictions and share our Congeniality of Sports Moment of the Week.
