Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy has a secret. The letter he presented to Miss Elizabeth Bennet after his ghastly proposal is not the only epistle he has written her. In this tale of longing, misadventure, and love, Jane Austen’s dearly loved Pride and Prejudice, is readapted as our hero has learned a powerful way of coping with his attraction to Miss Bennet. He writes her letters. The misguided suitor has declared himself, and Elizabeth Bennet has refused him, most painfully. Without ever intending for these letters to become known to any soul, Mr. Darcy relies on his secret for coping once again. However, these letters, should they land in the wrong hands, could amount to untold scandal, embarrassment, and possibly heartbreak. But what would happen should they fall into the right hands?

I like a good P&P variation and there are a few in which they convey their feelings through love letters. I liked most of them particularly well. Like this one, it is very sweet. And heartfelt. It goes a layer deeper than most of them. Sweet torture.
Had tears in my eyes a few times.

The only cause for disappointment is, that not every letter was read in full.
And that they came with a few excerpts before them, very late in the story.

The narrator reads very well and with good emphasis, his voice is very deep, but comfortable.
His intonation of the female voices is less nice, but I imagine with a deep voice like his it is particularly hard to perform female voices.

I couldn’t detect any dry spells in this story, in fact I thought as they finally came to it, it was over far too soon😅

I couldn’t detect any boring Repetition in this story either. As they came back to Rosings the scene was very funny and his telling Anne First and then Col. Fitzwilliam and later Georgiana shows his Character development among other things.

There were a few short flashbacks but there was no repetition of the scene at Huntsford or any long previous scenes before the storyline begins at Rosings.

This is a very entertaining story.

Sweet Story, a P&P Variation including love letters

We tried to listen to this, but honestly... it is just so full of repetition, it was impossible to get through.
First: You see Darcy arrive and talk to the Butler.
POV change to Butler, who remembers Darcy arriving and then meeting Colonel Fitzwilliam, whom he tells about Darcy arriving.
POV change to Colonel Fitzwilliam, who meets the Butler and learns that Darcy has arrived before him.

at this point we just gave up.
