The author grew up in a working class family, living at the bottom rung of poverty. He began working in the Texas oil fields at age fourteen. Here is a beautiful story of encouragement to everyone who works for a living, whether it be in the home or in the workplace.
God the Father could have had his Son live in any class of society, but He chose to immerse him in the daily grind of the working class. Your Lord was a day laborer. Here is a story which opens a window into the heart of God and the high esteem in which he holds those who labor— from the housewife to the steeplejack.
This book will give you a high and holy view of who you really are as you go about the routine of your daily life.
