I've already listened to another series, including spin-offs, with a very (very, very) similar storyarc, and I loved it, which is why I thought I couldn't go wrong with this book. Unfortunately, this title can't keep up. You constantly feel like you've seen the plot and characters somewhere else before, even though the story itself isn't really bad, but very predictable. Unfortunately, the excellent narrator cannot save the series for me, and I will probably not listen to the next title.
