Timothy Zahn earned his reputation truely and Mark Thompson did a fantastic job at bringing the story to live properly.
a few months back and i wouldve shrugged the Legends stories off as irrelevant, i truely hope more people get into these Masterpieces!

The narrator is a voice genious! I wish I could speak as clearly in a million different voices as him.

coole Geschichte seltsamer Sprecher

Die Story war allerdings zu großen Teilen vorhersehbar und langweilig. Es gab zu viele Akteure und zu viele Schauplätze. Alles wird dann so künstlich gedreht, dass es zusammenpasst. Große Teile hätte man weglassen können.
Weiterhin stört, dass Luke Skywalker und Mara Jade so ziemlich nichts hinbekommen und keiner Herausforderung gewachsen sind ohne, dass, zufälliger- und praktischerweise, die "Macht" zu Hilfe kommt. Die Macht stärkt ihre Muskeln, ihre Sehkraft, Gehör, lässt sie durch Wende hören, fungiert als Universalübersetzer und so weiter. Das ist einfach schwach und langweilig!
Mara Jade war in ihrer früheren Rolle als „The Emperors Hand“ viel interessanter. Sie konnte durch eigene Kraft, Training, Geschick und Raffinesse überzeugen.
Lea war besser, indem sie durch diplomatisches Geschick und Intelligenz überzeugte. Der Autor hat sie allerdings ein wenig zu emotional charakterisiert.
Viel besser und interessanter fand ich Han Solo, Lando Calrissian und die Akteure auf der "bösen" Seite, wie der Thrawn-Imitator Flim, Major Tierce, Admiral Pellaeon und Moff Disra. Sie hatten Tiefe, waren intelligent und sind planerisch vorgegangen und waren nicht so leicht durchschaubar, wie Luke und Mara.
Vor allem hat mich Major Tierce beeindruckt. So schlau wie Thrawn, allerdings leider nicht so visionär wie er. Thrawn ist einmalig.
Alles in allem eine schwache Leistung! Vermutlich liegt es am Alter des Buches (1989). Neuere Bücher von Timothy Zahn sind weitaus besser.
