MANY LEADERS suffer from the 3 Cs of addiction: comfort, conformity, and convenience. The lifestyle of an addict is built around an illusion of fulfillment, and 3-C leadership is no different:
In comfort there is safety. In conformity there is belonging. In convenience there is effortlessness.
But God tells a different story that says, “If you are my leader, you must explore the rest of the alphabet.”
Founder of Four Rivers Media and Co-founder of AVAIL Martijn van Tilborgh takes a page out of the great Book of biblical leadership meant to mold the modern-day leader into God’s image. Unorthodox will challenge you to:
- Lead with the heart of a rule-breaker,
- Lose in order to gain,
- Abandon ordinary leadership paradigms in favor of extraordinary ones,
- Recognize that the consequence of playing small is a team that plays small, and
- Acknowledge the orthodox leader as the most dangerous leader of all.
The road more traveled is treacherous. God made a footpath just for you.
