Über diesen Titel

Bailey had gone home to Memphis for a few days and decided to meet up with five of her closest friends while she was there. She had hardly seen them since moving to California, and she was excited to catch up.

She expected a few laughs and some light-hearted conversation, and had no idea they had a proposition for her. They desperately needed her to come back home for the summer.

This would be no regularly scheduled trip and would take a lot of effort on Bailey’s part. But, she was determined to make it happen.

Especially since one of the people asking her to come home happened to be tall, dark, and handsome.

I loved the story in itself but I had to switch to reading it myself because the narrating voice kept annoying me too much. it gave me a rather bad impression of bailey - I just couldn‘t connect with her, especially when she encountered ryan for the second time in the stairway. she behaved in that scene like a teenager with that voice. it was also annoying how the voice tried to sound masculine when a man spoke, it just sounded weird and influenced my view of ryan in a bad way. it was waaay better when I read the written book myself. it‘s astounding how much a voice influences a story.

Story is great, narration annoying
