Wie immer, die Abenteuer von Stefanie Plum sind witzig, unterhaltsam und auch das neue Buch entspricht den Erwartungen der Leser im vollen Umfang. Ein Buch um herzhaft zu lachen.

Let me begin by writing that I enjoyed this audiobook a lot more than Eleven. However, I wonder how long it will take before we grow tired of the constant struggle between the two men in Stephanie's life. Guess it's true that girls love bad boys. Anyways...

I think that Janet Evanovich did with this novel what Sue Grafton is failing miserably at with her's...give the readers what we like. We like the characters that she made us grow to love, the ones that make us laugh, the ones that make us keep coming back to the Stephanie Plum books.

The plot is interesting. I thought it was great how she gave us some variety with the bounty hunter runs on perverts and crazies as well as the main quite sinister plot of finding a missing child - Ranger's daughter. I must admit that I loved the way Evanovich made Ranger a human being in this novel. He did more than just appear in black and seduce Stephanie. We got to see a better side of him.

Kudos to Janet Evanovich for this one. However, be aware that you may need to settle on one guy. It doesn't have to be Ranger or even Morelli but it needs to stop at some point. This triangle kind of gets ridiculous after a while.

Listen to this book if you want a fun, light entertainment with some good humor. Lorelei King once again displays her impeccable versatility as she portrays a dozen characters.
