School is out and summer has begun. For 11 year old Timmy Quinn and his best friend Pete Marshall, the dreary town of Delaware, Ohio becomes a place of magic, hidden treasure and discovery. Am relevantesten
I liked: how accurate the author portraits childhood fears and embarrassments. And the narrator is very good.
But...maybe I've read too much (good) horror, but I just wasn't impressed with the supernatural elements of the story. Sorry, imo not spooky or even suspenseful at all.
