I love how the action is analyzed by victor, the reader does a great job in keeping the reading pace steady, like victor, when planning, fighting, shooting etc. it’s different from other action packed storys but that’s what i love about it. It’s almost a documentary about an assassin‘s life…

I love the books. All 10 of them. The reader of the first seven was a little more to my liking, but Peter Noble is doing a great job nonetheless.

I think the story just connects the action. But it’s still worth to purchase it.

Not the best of the series

Ich liebe alle Victor-Bücher, wenn auch diese Story leicht unmotiviert war. Doch vor allem ist der Sprecher ein Ärgernis. Diese abgehackte Sprechweise und die Monotonie ist einfach eine Zumutung. Er liest Action-Szenen mit der selben lahmen, abgehackten Geschwindigkeit wie einen Einkaufszettel. Keinerlei Dramatisierung spannender Kampfmomente. Es macht jeglichem Spaß an den Fight-Fähigkeiten von Victor ein Ende.

Die Geschichte war insgesamt leider nicht besonders gut. Tom Wood ist anscheinend so müde wie Victor in diesem Buch. Ich hoffe sehr, dass Tom Wood sich aufrappelt und wieder zu seiner alten Form zurückfindet. Es wäre sehr schade, wenn es das Ende der Serie wäre.
