A.F. Steadman
At twenty-one, Artemis graduates top of her Cambridge class of assassins, the most respected discipline in the Faculty’s army. As a timeless soldier, she will travel in and out of linear time, doing whatever it takes to stop the destruction of history by dangerous time vandals.
Artemis might look like she’s got everything she ever wanted, but assassins must be ruthless to survive. She’s made enemies, discarded lovers and has a secret that could lose her everything. Things don’t get any simpler once she and her crew start to travel, for all timeless soldiers must obey four fundamental rules:
- Never betray the Faculty.
- Never let a time vandal live.
- Never fall in love with a target.
- Never die in linear time.
But Artemis meets a time vandal who has been waiting for her. And despite knowing he is devastation distilled, she breaks all the rules and lets him live. As he follows her through time and space, she becomes obsessed with two questions: why is he so determined to be everywhere she is? And why can’t she bring herself to kill him?

'I lost myself in this world. A.F. Steadman’s imagination is extraordinary. TimeLess is bold, addictive and bursting with the kind of wonder that makes you lose track of time. I loved it.' (Josh Silver, author of Fruit Fly )
'TimeLess is blazingly brilliant and utterly unputdownable. I raced through this book, almost as if I was time travelling myself, desperate to find out what would happen to Artemis and her crew. With spectacular world building, an unforgettable cast of characters, and intricate, ingenious plotting — TimeLess proves A.F. Steadman is a masterful storyteller. I am desperate for the sequel!' (Katherine Webber, bestselling author of Twin Crowns)
'A dark and delicious, blood-soaked, beautiful thing, TimeLess is a sheer joy to read and a masterclass in intimate yet high-stakes fantasy. But beware! This is also a dangerous book, in that it was unputdownable to the point of inconvenience, so paralysed was I by the need to know what happened next.' (Mikey Please, author of The Expanded Earth)
'Reader, you're in for a treat. What a ride! I fell right into this world of time travelling assassins, and now I'd follow this crew anywhere. I'm already waiting impatiently for the sequel.' (Amie Kaufman, New York Times bestselling author of The Illuminae Files)

Deftly crafted and impossible to predict, TimeLess will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page, and still leave you yearning for more. I loved every minute of it!’ (Catherine Doyle, #1 Sunday Times bestselling author of The Dagger & the Flame)
