Multi-layered, well structured story, good characters, lots of twist and turns. Perspective changes constantly which makes this a really interesting read. Whilst I suspected half way ‘who’d done it’, this did not spoil it for me, I remained super interested as the story carried on exploring different directions. It was not too slow for me, I thought that the pace was good, but I can imagine that not everybody would agree here. Clear recommendation for me!

Beautifully narrated and utterly riveting!
I couldn’t stop listening — the story pulled me in from the very beginning, and the narration brought every character vividly to life. The ending took me completely by surprise, making the experience even more unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Super Geschichte! Das Einzige was mich ein bisschen genervt hat, waren die oftmals langen "weinerlich" gelesenen Passagen.

The contestant half crying voice of the narrator is hard to take, good story but the ending is really quite frustrating and some loose ends haven’t been tied up. Ok overall

Totally average, mass produced crime story. Flat characters, improbable storyline. Might as well have been created by A.I. Maybe it was.

Boring

The story is okay but no more than that. I struggled a little to get through.
While the narrator is not bad, still some parts seem to be cut together so tight that often there is not a breather between the chapters.
The end is anticlimactic and a real disappointment in my opinion.
It is as if the author was getting tired of her own plot and wished to finish it off quickly.
It felt abrupt and not organic, albeit a relief to have come to the end.
Would not recommend it and probs won't go for another book of the author.
