The story centers around an Australian family whose father has the bright idea of driving his family across the country for a vacation. 13-year-old Nick Tripp narrates much of the action, which includes the paterfamilias getting into trouble when he offers to help an old friend. The sound quality is top-notch, but the recording is so full of Australian references it might best be enjoyed by those who hail from Down Under.
