für den Sprecher hätte ich am liebste 10 sternen verteilt! Ein Buch was man absolut aud englisch hören sollte. Die feinheiten, wie er wörter aneinander reiht, die unglaublig kreative und vielfälltige art der britische beleidigungen, spannend und humoristisch, einfach nur GENIAL!

Die Geschichte ist gut, aber Fry hat leider eine sehr feuchte Aussprache und das hört man auch sehr deutlich. Daher alles andere als ein Hörgenuss.

the story is an adaptation of Count of Monte Christo to the modern world. I love Frys language and I love his reading and was ready to make my peace with the repetition of the story. but like every adaptation of Monte Christo I've ever seen this one has one flaw. it only shows the vindictive side of Edmont/Ned. Dumas was more complex than this
