Lovecraft's classic horror story on a house on Benefit Street in Boston - close to his actual home - gets a thorough and slightly tongue-in-cheek remake in the style of a 1931 radio play - complete with fake advertisements and cheesy announcements. The speakers are superb and very distinct, the story is faithful enough to the original, the dramatisation and effects are both professional as very much in the style of that time.

It's one hour of spooky, eerie, weird fun that hasn't lost its appeal at all. One of the HPLHS' best so far.
