I‘ve read almost all of Francine Rivers books and have to admit that this was the hardest one for me to read/listen to. It was hard, because I felt all the hurt und anger she described, so well. I could relate to it, because nothing was embellished, everything clear and painful and at the same time beautiful. Sometimes I like to emerge myself into a book in order to forget all the sorrows I have in my life. This was certainly not possible with this novel.
Still, I believe that the message of this book is the best one I have ever read in a Christian Novel. For all the deep thinkers and people who can endure reality „the Scarlet Thread“ is a great novel to understand the hardships of life better and see it from God‘s perspective.
