Der Sprecher Stefan Rudnicki liest das Buch in gewohnter qualität, wie auch schon allen anderen Bova Audiobüchern. Die Story selbst, obwohl sie einen interessanten Ansatz bietet, kommt über die gesamte Spanne des Buches nicht in Schwung und ausser dem Protagonisten, Stoner, alle weiteren Rollen sehr monoton und klischeehaft.
