The story itself is very prolonged and dry at times, the extasy of love gets comical rather than genuine but that is the style of the time I guess.
Ending is more poetic and unexpected.
The reader does a good job with the text and the voices, however if one uses headphones the microphone of the narrator was so sensitive that it picked up a lot of mouth noises that threw me of at times. Not a big deal but I did not notice that on other audiobooks on Audible which normally have a high quality.

Slight dissapointment but decent.
