How far will one man go for the woman he's loved since high school?

Jamie: I've been in love with my best friend for as long as I can remember. I tried to tell her in high school, which royally backfired. Ten years hasn't changed things, but now I'm finally ready to lay it all out on the table. The only problem? She's got her sights set on someone else.

A very lovely story and the characters felt real,but there's just a bit too much drama only caused through miscommunication or better through not communicating at all! So this was annoying hence only 4 stars.

I listened until the end. And please don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible or anything, I did want to hear how it would end. Also, let's be real: nobody's perfect, not even fictional characters. But I STG, Jamie was so manipulative, I got more and more annoyed with him, the more the story progressed. He pushed Brynn away/into the arms of another guy, all the while expecting her to STILL choose him. I understand his fear about relationships when he was still in his teens, but as a grown-up you just have to do some work on yourself instead of taking it out on other people. It's red flag-gy. Plus I did not love that Brynn in the end had to be the one to make the grand gesture instead of Jamie.
