Ein super-nerdiger Bürokrat und eine AI werden losgeschickt um Metropolis (klar erkennbar: New York City) vor der Bedrohung durch Terror von Seiten Unbekannter zu retten. Das Ganze entwickelt sich sehr schnell zum sehr gut erzählten Buddy-Movie a la Midnight Run, mit Szenen die mehr als nur eine Ähnlichkeit mit unzähligen Filmklassikern aufweisen.

Man merkt schnell, dass der Autor sehr Film-affin ist und einen Sinn für absurden Humor hat. Wer dem beitreten kann, dem steht mit diesem Hörbuch ein wahrer Genuss bevor. Kopf-Kino wahrlich vom Feinsten!
