Über diesen Titel
What might it be like to live as the last formal priest of a great religion when you know that all that will remain of your beliefs once you pass away is a few lichen encrusted works of stone? For the last priest of Apollo, facing his doom at the hands of vengeful Christians, there is defiance. For the last sage of the south seas facing the extinction of his culture at the hands of Christian missionaries there is confidence that God is not an exclusive Christian possession. For the last priest of Jesus Christ there is deep sadness as he surrenders to his doubts of the divinity of Jesus and accepts that Christianity is incompatible with the great discoveries of science. From the last great student of the Christian religion a hundred years hence there is a warning that the demise of Christianity has unfettered devils happy to risk the doom of humanity.©2024 Jake van der Kamp (P)2024 Jake van der Kamp Belletristik
