At first, it seemed superficial with all the parties and insignificant conversations. But that changed quickly and the depth and seriousness came to the fore.
Matthew Lopez leads you slowly and with so much emotion towards the inevitable ending. By that point, I was a crying. Even though it ended with a beautiful overview of each person's life. In any case, it's one of the best endings in a book.
I highly recommend the audiobook or the stage play, which lasts about 6 hours.
All the voices were enchanting, especially the MC's,
they made it real with so much emotion.
Very, very well done.
The book is written as a play.
