Loki works in an exploitative sweatshop of a corporation. Even if this soulless apparatus were not staffed by Gods, it would still be soul-crushingly funny. For a worker - or slave, Loki is unpaid - in such a dire situation, our norse deity is doing a great job amusing himself. What starts with small(?) acts of non-compliance soon spirals into a veritable maelstrom of defiance.
Loki's resilient spirit and ever-present zest make this audiobook a refreshing breeze for any fellow (or former) office worker. Indeed, it even managed to instill within me a certain sense of levity. I cannot wait to listen to the next book.
