Die Geschichte hat mir Anfangs gut gefallen. Sie erzählt aus meiner Sicht sehr realistisch wie intensiv Freundschaft anfangs sein kann und man sich mit den Jahren dann doch aus den Augen verliert. im letzten Drittel hat die Geschichte aber zunehmend an Spannung verloren und obwohl ich den einzelnen Charakteren doch gern gefolgt bin, kam mir die Geschichte von Topher viel zu kurz. Das Ende war mir dann etwas zu seicht bzw. happy. Die Autorin liest die Geschichte selbst und man merkt, dass sie keine professionelle Sprecherin ist aber das hat mich nicht gestört. im Großen und Ganzen eine nettes Buch.
