Upon receiving a dire vision, a young messenger must bring word to the King. Across his journey await several figures of wise council. From widows to collectors and warriors to vagrants, each is carrying their own truths to share. Yet when they reach the great palace, are any of them prepared for what will be said?

Discarded No More is a tale of fantasy and standalone fiction, set within a universe inspired by the works of C.S. Lewis and video game developer Bungie. It is also a narrative furthered by the Seven Heavens of the medieval world—the Moon, Mercury, Venus, the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Its words are written to accompany its sibling The Discarded Instrument, a piano homage to Music of the Spheres by Martin O'Donnell, Michael Salvatori, and Sir Paul McCartney. Discarded No More is drawn from a scrapped story component that Music of the Spheres itself was going to have—a story about a primitive human discovering a lost church mode.

Discarded No More is filled with imagery that can be dissected by the hardcore Bungie fan, while still remaining simple and lighthearted enough for all ages to enjoy. Listen well, for it begins as all things do—in silence, and in sleep...
