I truly enjoyed 3/4 of the book, meeting favorite characters again, seeing them in Italy, the parallel stories developing. Some events in the last third of the book, though, I did not like at all. I don’t want to give spoilers, so I won’t say more, but really... could the author not find a less startling and also more believable, desirable ending to her story? I almost felt a bit betrayed, after reading/listening about these people for so long. Nevertheless, as I said, I found the rest of the book very engaging. Less for the cases, more for the characters.

Gelesen wars nicht prickelnd. Gestört haben mich konkret folgende Punkte:
Der aufgesetzte klischeehafte italienische Akzent.
Der Telefonton bei Telefonaten. Ein Hinweis darauf und normal gelesen, hätte genügt.
Die Kinderstimmen waren schlecht ausgeführt.

Ein mittelmässiges Hörvergügen.
