Lily had always been a dreamer. There was a bakery that smelled of warm bread and cinnamon, a tiny bookshop where old stories whispered from dusty pages, and a windmill that turned lazily in the summer breeze. Life in Willow Brook was safe, predictable, and full of warmth. But to Lily, it was also just a little bit too ordinary.
