Without knowing what they were thinking or why they chose to lock the people of the settlement rather than killing them, however, they worry that they won't be able to release them from their binds in time.
Back at the compound the women are struggling to deal with not having their men around. When Bannack contacts them through Loralia's compact to ask for their help figuring out how to unlock the people, all of the women are thrilled to see their mates, but an emergency with Eden takes away their excitement.
