Unfortunately, David Poyer‘s The Academy did not only not deliver it was actually a miserable conclusion of an otherwise brilliant naval saga. This audiobook was even more destroyed by the abysmal performance of the voice artist. Actually, this was the worst reading of an audiobook I ever listened to. Even an AI-generated voice would probably show more emotion than Gary Galone. This audiobook was a complete and utter failure!
