What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 6-10 from the Swedish Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Swedish.

Ich bin vielleicht nicht ganz unbegabt im Erlernen neuer Sprachen, aber mit dieser Methode funktioniert es wirklich recht einfach. In den Kapiteln wird zudem zuvor Erlerntes in anderen Kontexten wiederholt, längere Wörter werden in Silben unterteilt rückwärts aufgebaut erlernt. Man lernt phonetisch und alltagstauglich, Umgangssprache und Höflichkeitsformen werden vermittelt, der Unterricht findet in englisch/schwedisch mit mehreren Sprechern statt. Die Methode sieht ein Kapitel pro Tag vor, ich höre jedes Kapitel mehrfach hintereinander, manchmal über mehrere Tage verteilt. Nach Kapitel 10 kann man nach dem Weg fragen, Getränke bestellen, Höflichkeiten austauschen, mitteilen, dass man etwas kaufen/mit jemandem etwas tun möchte.

Irgendwie funktioniert das hier richtig gut.
