This story is one that shows you in very realistic terms how love can eventually overcome trauma of the worst kind. It shows how a real man acts when faced with the sexual trauma of a woman and how this woman finds strength within herself and ultimately proclaims her power after it had been taken away for years by her assailant. At the same time, this story concentrates on the strong and loving relationship of the two MCs and how they enjoy sexuality in a loving, emotionally physically safe relationship. It is a beautiful story and the hot scenes don't come short, either. A brilliant deep book that still gives hope and happiness a centre stage. Definitely recommended but be aware that there can be some triggers for readers sensitive to scenes of sexual assault and torture.
