It didn't take long to figure out that the "lucky find" Earl took from his neighbor's house was more than just costume jewelry for a Halloween party. That is what his sister Pearl researched and found out.
Through their discovery, they realize their precious artifact is cursed and that Earl is part of a legend that has existed for nearly three hundred years.
In all the madness they seek out Madam Glosehm, a clairvoyant who has prophet-sized that Earl is in great danger.
Now with only 13 days left before the Halloween party, they must find a way to change the events that are about to occur. Earl and his sister must find a way to end the rhetoric of two rivals from the 17th century who may return on Halloween.
In the midst of chaos, Pearl tries to locate clues to help her brother understand his link to the ghostly tale. Hopefully the historians of the institute can help. As time whines down, they meet a new friend, named C.J who has decided to join them on their quest but he will need his special friend Reiden to help.
