From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Pinkalicious series comes a series about a zealous puppy who wants to win over his new family—but first he will have to compete with Princess Kitty!
Newly adopted Snickerdoodle wants to be the perfect pet, but he can’t stop making mistakes. Determined to prove he’s the best pup around, he’ll have to be even better than Princess Kitty, the family’s beloved cat. What if he decides to be just like her—maybe then he can win his new family’s affection. But when a day full of copycat mishaps goes terribly wrong, Snickerdoodle comes to realize he might not need to change after all.
Featuring a puppy who sometimes feels jealous of others, like all kids do, this heartwarming story will have readers cheering for Snickerdoodle as he learns an important lesson about staying true to himself.

“Bounds of adorableness … A solid vehicle for Kann’s calling card: her sleek, kid-pleasing art.”—Kirkus Reviews
