Dipsi had a simple life, growing up knowing little beyond the sea and her small town. Raised in a fishing town by an Irish fisherman and a lively Island woman, family and friends were more important to Dipsi than anything else. Being the youngest, and only girl, brought not a since of safety, but a feeling of obligation to her life. After the storm of the century wipes out her home and tears apart her entire world, Dipsi recovers the only way she knows how; by helping her family return to normalcy.
