The concept is intriguing, but unfortunately the third act of Charly and Munroe having very entry-level philosophical discussions really drags, especially since it's obvious the author sides with Charly. I hope part two actually has more of a plot and less ethic discussions - and if they are there, I hope they're better.

I had high hopes for this book and the story was quite interesting, but I didn’t really connect with the characters here. It’s still a good first book and quite entertaining, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations having read some of the other series from this author. I would however read the next book if the mood strikes.
