Well, I guess Kinley had to suffer even more than Caroline (Protecting Caroline) had back in the day. A very, very intense story, that will leave you not just a little astonished for what the body can endure and the soul/heart can take. And big, bad Delta Lefty being all mushy-mushy just shows he's only human too. Best book ever. Well, not quite, because all of Susans books are amazing. And even Tex re-appears. Wonderful!
Virginia Rose once more did a very awesome job, bringing the guys and girls to life.
